Prototype Solutions Engineer

Scope of Position:

Reporting to the Director, OEM, you will be responsible for prototyping, integrating and presenting solutions that are complementary to Coradiant’s core technology to partners.  This includes defining new solution configurations based on products from Coradiant and our partners, assembling the requisite hardware and software and creating the solution/application.  The Applications Engineer will establish technical credibility with partners, customers, evangelize and promote our products. This work will provide a proving ground for these applications as well as an environment for testing new concepts and capabilities.

Specific duties:

• • Define applications, solutions and system configurations • Design and build web based integrations • Establish and maintain applications lab • Work closely with partners and customers to understand application requirements. • Provide demonstrations as necessary to support the partner relations

The successful candidate will have:

• 5 years of industry experience in Development, QA or Customer Service
• Demonstrable understanding of web technologies.
• Working knowledge Linux and windows
• Knowledge of scripting languages

Assets:

• Experience running a lab
• Software skills (hardware skill also valuable but less critical)
• Knowledge of programming languages (especially web based – HTML, PHP, ASP, Javascript) preferred
• Working knowledge of IT best practices
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
