Director of OEM Relationships

Scope of Position:
Reporting to our SVP of Marketing & Business Development, you will be participating and working up front with the business development in meeting the potential partners. This will include presenting demos and determining mutual interest. From there, this position will manage the process of developing specifications using internal resources and the partner’s employees. The position includes OEM opportunities, interoperability certifications, or internal products customized for a potential partner. This is a senior position with significant responsibility and visibility. Approximately 25% travel will be required for this position.
Specific duties:
- Developing Initial contacts and meetings with potential partners
- Conducting demos of Coradiant products
- Determining the level of interest from the partner
- Preparing a business case analysis involving a value or/and financial perspective with market & product offerings
- Developing the specifications, timelines, and interim milestones from kick-off through product launch
The successful candidate will have:
- University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- 5 years of industry experience in product development, product management, or business development
- Demonstrable understanding of project/program management techniques.
- Experience using MS-Project or other project/program management tools
- Experience working in a large diverse engineering organization
Assets:
- Previous management experience
- Strong software skills (hardware skill also valuable but less critical)
- Strong communications skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
